Twelve Days of Special Needs Kudos 2010 -Day Eight/Jean Kennedy Smith & VSA

President Obama said volumes when he awarded Jean Kennedy Smith, founder of VSA, a 2010 Presidential Medal of Freedom.

VSA is one terrific organization, and my choice for Special Needs Kudos, Day Eight.

TWELVE DAYS OF SPECIAL NEEDS KUDOS 2010 -DAY EIGHT: JEAN KENNEDY SMITH & VSA:

VSA is the International Organization on Arts & Disability and an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. It was founded by Jean Kennedy Smith, a 2010 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama. Smith created this marvelous resource thirty-five years ago so that individuals with disabilities could learn, participate in and enjoy the arts. I am constantly amazed and deeply moved by the quality and level of arts' opportunities this resource provides for those with special needs.

BRAVO!

Do yourself and your children a favor and check vsa out here.
