Happy Birthday Special Olympics-- making a big difference in the lives of millions with intellectual disabilities and their families for 41 years! What began in Eunice Kennedy Shriver's backyard as a passionate mission to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities athletic opportunities, today commands an international stage and status as a special needs giant, with no signs of slowing down.
