On this day, I pause to remember and pay tribute to the remarkable young poet/peacemaker, Mattie Stepanek, who passed away on this date in 2004. Like my amazing son, Eric, Mattie lives on in beautiful ways.
Gone too soon.
Which fills me with peace and gratitude.
